Hello doctor. Thank you for sharing your experience and opinions about the reality of medical profession.
I am a new HO and i am interested to pursuit in sports medicine. Can u share with me what is the pathway to Sports medicine in malaysia? What can i do now in preparing myself towards that goal? What are the steps? Thank u doctor
Most sports medicine specialist in Malaysia are Orthopaedic surgeons first. However, I know UM do conduct Masters in Sports Medicine. The application process is the same as any other Master’s program. However, please remember that if you do Sports medicine alone, the job prospect is almost NIL in private sector.
