My name is Dr. Pagalavan Letchumanan from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I am a Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist. I was born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and completed my primary and secondary education at St.Paul’s Institution. I graduated with MBBS from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 1997 and obtained my MRCP(UK) in 2002. I worked for Ministry of Health from 1997 till 2006 in various hospitals in Malaysia and joined Monash University in 2006. I completed my Rheumatology subspeciality training at Selayang Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. I received my FRCP(Edin) from Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in May 2010. I was a  full time, self-employed Resident Consultant Physician & Rheumatologist at Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri (www.columbiaasia.com) from 17/06/2010 till April 2019. I published 2 books in 2016 on ” Hard Truths of Being a Doctor“. I moved to Australia in May 2019 and took up the position of Consultant Physician at Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital since June 2019.
