And ia it compulsary to have a medical degree to apply further study in psychiatry?

To be a psychiatrist , you must be a doctor! The pathway is the same as for any other speciality which is Master’s program
Hi Dr P ! I was a gp practising aesthetic and primary care dermatology. I am a good example of a doctor who went medical school for all the wrong reasons:
a) glory, being the top student in the school must always study medicine.
b) money- doctors are pathetically paid for the amount of salary. You will earn more by selling chicken rice compare to a government doctor. Money saved from your half a million school fees compounded by 8% growth rate for 9 years (medical school, houseman, medical officer) will earn you a million.
c) save someone’s else life- at the end it all about saving your own ass. One will reach a point in their life it is all about the MONEY pcause there are BILLS to be paid.
D) pretty hot nurse students. You won’t have time to do your chores and there are minority unless u wiling to go to Sabah or Sarawak. 3 points for Sabah and Sarawak.
My advice to those young smart talented young people out there who wants to do medicine think again and again. There is no future in it in making money , you will most likely depressed with the out comes. My comment may be biased but buy dr pagalavan’s book.
It will save your future !!!!
