I was invited to give a talk at the UKM Career progression workshop which was held on 17/04/2021. I did mention this in my blog on 29/06/2021 where I showed some of the slides from the talk. Many have emailed me and asked me whether I can upload the talk that I gave. It took some time for me to get the recorded video from the organiser and I also had to do some editing to make it shorter.
So, here is the video of my talk and it is almost an hour long……… Some of the documents might not be clear but those documents are available in my blog.
The current most important issue facing us is Covid vaccination. Think carefully before getting vaccinated. This vaccine was developed in a very short time.
If ur a doctor who said its not safe the government will fire you 🤣
Luckily , I am not. Maybe in the future when I become rich.😅 As you know, many medical schools will accept you if you have money.
Mandatory vaccine for NHS workers to be cancelled. Maybe soon the hardship of the unvaccinated will end.
From 1st April 2022, Malaysia will cancel movement restrictions on the unvaccinated. 🤣 Actually, I thank Dr Paga because I was impressed and inspired by his successful prediction of doctor oversupply. So, I told myself that I must learn and master the skills.
Good day Dr.
Currently I’m Year 2 medical student from private university, if i start USMLE Part 1 after my Year 2, what will happen if MQA still not recognized by WFME in 2024? Is my USMLE Part 1 result still eligible and continue to take USMLE Part 2?
Thank you for clearing my doubts.
I am not sure but from what I can see, the requirement is for you to sit for Step 1. So, they may allow those who already pass Step 1 to proceed. We will have to wait for more information when the time comes in 2024.

Hi Dr Paga
I emailed you like almost 10 years ago about your blog and we chit chat a bit in the emails. I want to say thank you for your work which has raised awareness on so many including me. I hope you are healthy with your family during these pandemic times.

Good day Dr, I am a foundation student and I would like to ask for some suggestions. Based on the current situation in Malaysia, which field do you recommend me to pursue? Your concern is crucial and highly appreciated. Thank you.
At the moment it is very difficult to say anything due to all the issues being caused by Covid. Whatever career you choose, be prepared that nothing is guaranteed.
Hi Dr Paga,
Thank you for the update. Intriguing thoughts yet worrisome,on the medical profession in Malaysia.
Hi doctor,
Hope you are doing great. I have just graduated from a medical college in Malaysia. And Im interested in doing my housemenship in UK. So after going through PLAB 1&2 and after finishing FY 1&2 in UK. If I decide to come back to Malaysia, do I need to go through housemenship again in Malaysia? Or shall I continue with specialisation and then return back to Malaysia to be recognised? I would like to know your advice on this matter sir, Im sorry if you had answered this in other post, but I cant seem to find the direct answer to my question. Eagerly waiting for your reply sir. Thank you so much.
No you don’t need to as FY1 and 2 is recognised in Malaysia.
Hi Doctor,
Hope you are doing well. I have just graduated from UKM and I have been offered a job for PGY1 in Singapore. In a bit of confusion as to whether I should go for it as you mentioned about the story regarding the MO in orthopedics who hasn’t gotten into the residency programme. Hope you can shed some light about the residency programme in Singapore as I aspire to be a physician. Eagerly waiting for your reply. Thank you so much, Doctor.
I think it all depends on luck!
